Stafford B-24This is a B-24 built from a Jack Stafford Kit. This kit was produced in the late 70's and at that time was one of the largest models available. By todays standards it's 90 in wing span is very small for a 4 engine airplane. I built the model in 1995, it has 4 O.S .25 engines and weighs 16 lbs. It has has Century Jet retracts, and Airtronics radio gear.

The B-24 wing was highly modified to accept todays larger engines and retract gear. The engines are controlled with a single servo mounted in the center of the wing. Each engine has an 8 ounce fuel tank, and the entire wing was reinforced with Carbon Fiber. The model is covered with chrome ultracote, that was brushed with 0000 steel wool to resemble aluminum.

P-51 Takeoff P-51 Flying P-51 on take off roll, and during low fly-by. At a recent air show this airplane was radar timed at 92 MPH.

Byron p-51s This phots shows 2 P-51's, both are built from Byron Kits, the far one belongs to Steve Gawlik, it has a Quadra 40 turning a 24 inch 4 blade prop on a reduction drive. The near one is mine, it's powered with a Zenoah G-62, both models have an 85 inch wing span, weigh around 25 LBS and use Byron retracts. These airplanes look great in the air together.

Hanger-9 PT19 This is my PT-19 from Hanger-9, it has a YS-120, 80 inch wignspan, and JR 10-X Radio. This a great example of todays high quality ARF models, it can be ready to fly in 30 to 40 hours, and it flies great.

Balsa USA Der Jeger and Fokker D 7On the right are a WW-I Fokker D-7, and a Der Jeger. The D-7 was scratch built by Bill Brown. It has a Zenoah G-62, and extensive detailing in metal, the lozenge pattern was hand painted. The Jeger was built by Steve Gawlik nearly 20 years ago from a Balsa USA Kit. It's now owned by me, and flies great with a G-62 engine.
